Disc golf enthusiasts in the Upstate have no shortage of options to choose from in order to enjoy the sport that has been growing in popularity since the 1970s. As far back as the 1920s, people have been throwing discs at targets in a golf-like game, but it wasnt until the late 1960s, when a California parks and recreation supervisor petitioned Wham-O, the makers of the Frisbee, to supply discs for a tournament, that the seeds of the sport were planted.

Our leader Stephanie Acker has a severe case of FOMO (Fear of Missing Out, for those of you not In the Know). Our tribe gets to participate in some incredible experiences. Whether it be facials, cryotherapy, go-karting, or aerial aerobics, Stephanie feels a little left out. That is why she wanted to bring you her own inside experience. With her busy schedule, she likes to keep things simple and easy. That's why her experience is none other than Lowes Foods. Never been to Lowes? Don't worry, she's got you covered with her low down of Lowes Foods.
When I was approached by the Spa at Arya Place with the opportunity to get a facial, I was sure they had the wrong person. I am all for breaking gender stereotypes, I’m a man, and I would LOVE a facial. That being said, I have a somewhat large beard (not trying to brag, but it is pretty nice). This would leave them with a smaller canvas to pamper. However, I was assured they wanted to give me the facial, beard and all.
